Product detail

The grab-and-go glove for food service

When the job is making sandwiches, plating salads or working a buffet line, you do not need a fitted glove — you need the cheapest clean barrier that goes on fast and comes off faster. That is TPE. It is the most economical disposable TruGlove offers, a loose-fitting food film built for the constant glove changes that food service runs on.

TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) is fully synthetic, so there is no natural rubber latex and none of the chemical accelerators used in nitrile or latex — that means no Type I and no Type IV allergy exposure across your team. It is powder-free and food-safe, with an embossed surface for grip and an ambidextrous, straight-cuff fit that dons fast from a 200-count box. The fit is deliberately relaxed rather than snug; it is made for speed and cost, not fine-motor work.

Where it performs

Sandwich and deli counters, buffets and cafeterias, food prep and packaging, grocery and bakery departments, concessions and food trucks, and sampling or demo stations — anywhere food handling is brief, gloves change constantly and cost per glove is what matters most.

Want a closer fit or a bit more durability? Move to the 3 mil clear vinyl or blue vinyl. For strength, chemical resistance or exam-grade protection, step up to the 4 mil blue nitrile.

Questions

Before you order

What are TPE gloves best for?
Brief, high-turnover food handling — sandwich and deli lines, buffets, prep and packaging — where a glove is worn for seconds and cost per glove matters most. For a closer fit or more durability, choose vinyl or nitrile.
Are TPE gloves food safe?
Yes. TruGlove TPE is FDA-compliant for food contact, so it is suitable for prep, plating, packaging and service.
Are TPE gloves latex-free and allergy-friendly?
Yes. TPE contains no natural rubber latex and none of the chemical accelerators used in nitrile or latex gloves, so there is no Type I or Type IV allergy risk — a good fit for standardizing across a mixed team.
TPE or vinyl — which should I choose?
Choose TPE for the lowest cost and fastest changes on brief food tasks. Choose clear vinyl when you want a closer, more form-fitting glove or a little more durability.
Why do TPE gloves fit loosely?
The relaxed fit is by design — it lets gloves go on and come off quickly for constant changes on a busy line. If you want a snug, form-fitting glove for finer tasks, use a vinyl or nitrile glove instead.
What is the minimum order?
Pricing starts at case quantity — 2,000 gloves (10 boxes of 200). Volume, pallet and standing-order pricing is quoted on request.
Do you private label?
Yes. We supply custom sizes, colors and your own box art for volume buyers. Include the details in your quote request.
