1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help sites work, remember your preferences, and understand how the site is used.
We also use similar technologies such as pixels (tiny images that record activity), local storage (data saved in your browser), and software development kits/tags. In this Policy, we refer to all of these collectively as "cookies." Cookies may be first-party (set by TruGlove) or third-party (set by our service providers), and either session cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or persistent cookies (which remain for a set period).
2. Types of Cookies We Use
We group cookies into four categories:
| Category | What it does | Consent |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Enable core functions like navigation, security, load balancing, and the shopping cart and checkout. The site can't work properly without these. | Always on |
| Performance & analytics | Help us understand how visitors find and use the site so we can improve it (pages viewed, time on site, errors). | Opt-in |
| Functional | Remember choices you make (such as region, language, or saved cart) to personalize your experience. | Opt-in |
| Marketing & advertising | Track browsing to deliver and measure relevant advertising across sites and to limit ad repetition. | Opt-in |

4. Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies are set by third parties that provide services on our behalf. These providers may use cookies to perform their services and, in some cases, for their own purposes as described in their policies:
- Analytics — Google Analytics 4 (privacy).
- Email & CRM — Brevo for newsletter, transactional email and any on-site chat.
- Payments — Stripe for secure checkout and fraud prevention.
- Advertising — Meta, Google Ads, where enabled, for campaign delivery and measurement.
- Marketplaces — links to Amazon, Walmart and eBay may set their own cookies once you leave our site.
We don't control third-party cookies. Please review each provider's policy for details on their practices and opt-outs.
5. Why We Use Cookies
- To operate the store, keep your cart, and process secure checkout;
- To remember your preferences and improve your experience;
- To understand site performance and how our content and products are used;
- To measure and, where enabled, deliver relevant marketing; and
- To help detect and prevent fraud and keep the site secure.
6. Managing Your Cookie Preferences
You have several ways to control cookies:
- Our cookie banner / preference center. When you first visit, you can accept or reject non-essential cookies. You can change your choices anytime via the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer.
- Your browser settings. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. See your browser's help pages (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge). Blocking strictly necessary cookies may break parts of the site.
- Opt-out tools. You can opt out of certain analytics/advertising cookies via industry tools such as the DAA and Your Online Choices, and the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
7. Do Not Track & Global Privacy Control
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. Because there is no common industry standard for DNT, our site does not currently respond to DNT signals. However, we honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as an opt-out of "sale"/"sharing" where required by law. For more on your California rights, see our Privacy Policy.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy as our practices or the technologies we use change. We'll revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Please check back periodically.
